Please read the statement below regarding operations at The Montgomery County Transfer & Recycling Facility and Environmental Learning Center during the COVID-19 pandemic:
Due to the stay-at-home order issued by Governor Mike DeWine, we ask that citizens only visit the Montgomery County Transfer & Recycling Facility if their trip is absolutely essential to protect our employees. Please use your best judgement to assist us in minimizing the traffic at our facility during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Please note, tours of the Environmental Learning Center are temporarily suspended until further notice.
Montgomery County Environmental Services manages the Montgomery County Solid Waste District, which provides waste disposal services for Montgomery and surrounding counties. We also provide recycling, waste reduction, and litter prevention programs for Montgomery County schools, communities, and businesses.
For more information about our services, you can download our Solid Waste District Resource Guide (pdf).
For more information on our hours of operation, disposal fees, and locations, visit the Contact Us page.
The Montgomery County Solid Waste District does not remove residential or curbside waste. For information on waste haulers in your area, download our Waste Hauler List.
